Finally someone with a question I can answer; and since the requisite period of time has passed to negate any possible national security problems!!! What sort of specific information were you looking for?

I myself used RT-524 FM radios, an ANGRC-106A AM radio, and what was called a Manuever Control System (a computer that communiated via a dedicated RT-524 radio). The commo unit I had just left before going to desert storm used Tactical Satellite Communications along with the AM & FM radios I mentioned above and some switchboard equipment.
