Cool. We flew Pan-Am, and I still have the blanket and pillow.

I don't remember what airline we flew, but I do remember the crew was based out of Bangor, Maine. They showed us Robin William's welcome home tape ... really emotional ... I still have a copy.

We collected one dog tag from everyone on the plane and gave it to the head stewardess.

It was comfortable ... E-6 and below in the main cabin and E-7 and above in first class ... the one and only time in my life that I flew first class. The meals were all the same, and they configured the seating to get more seats in first class ... but we were in first class.

We flew there and back on an American Trans Air (ATA) plane. When we flew over we were stacked in like cord wood. On the way back I was fortunate enough to be in first class with the officers and got to go into the cabin with my M16A1 strapped across my back.
