Billy-KY sent me a email saying that he was banned from this site.. I am wondering what is going on with that? I hope that it was a mistake that has taken place.. So I need one of the staff to look into it for me..

Thanks

He is fixed, I just banned about 60 people and grabbed him by mistake. I meant to grab the one before him and after him in the registration list.

He is fixed now

Nice save Dagger. Thats the problem, Im sure some people will get tagged during the cleanup, but we do our best.

Just stinks we have to do all this because of the SPAM. Sad thing is, no matter what, there will always be people willing to waste their time and post garbage.

The thing about doing this though, it should be a day to day routine. Otherwise it gets overwhelming and confusing.

It is done daily but in many cases its as soon as I log out for the evening. I am on the site multiple times a day every single day of the week and weekend, I delete them as soon as I see them.

Some posts will sit for a few hours until I log in the next time but they too get deleted and the user gets banned and then deleted.

Regardless of how it looks now, its about 1 gazillion times better than it was 2 months ago. I am banning certain email domain names now to prevent the most common spammers from registering using them. They are getting better by using Gmail, hotmail, and certain other bigtime free email servers. I have all but banned any emails ending in .RU, .AU, and .DE and the cashette.com site died from lack of financial support. These 4 bans alone killed 80% of the spam we were getting here.

Gotta be careful with some of the Gmail accounts.. There are some legit people that use it..

I try not to ban them (google, hotmail, excite, yahoo, etc) until I see either a spam post from it or the profile has some XXX website or drug advertisement website stuck on it. I ban those. The sites that do not look XXX or drug, I visit and if its a legit personal site then I leave it unbanned.

fabio should be banned on name alone.
