I just gave my ENT a call and asked for copies of all my records throough him so I can submit them to my VA PCP to get them added to my file. I stopped dealing with the VA on all my ear infections issues since all they would do is issue me pain meds and some weak-ass antibiotic that usually took several weeks to ward off the infection. This li'l Indian dude I have for a civilian ENT didn't play no games, I explained my situation to him and what I had been doing for treatment since leaving the Gulf and he started writing the RX for some ass kicking antibiotics that were showing positive signs in as little as 2-3 days with no pain by day 4. Now if he could only CURE the problem too I'd be in heaven.

I go back to VA Mental Health this Friday for refills on my head meds and to talk again, I want to go back into group again.

Trick,

They did mine in '95 or so. It included everything in a thorough physical including a cardio stress test. Pretty inclusive exam. Might educate yourself on all the symptoms of nerve agent exposure, Pyridostigmine Bromide (PB) pills side effects and all the symptoms of PTSD which by the way includes arthritis and a bunch of other things. Make a list so you don't forget some things which is also a symptom of PTSD.

Getcha some justice bro.

Mine was more of a general physical, don't remember getting the finger rub to the ole prostate though...maybe I blocked that traumatic experience out, who knows.

I did not get to talk with anyone in Mental Health at that point, it wasn't until years later when i started questioning things and asking my VA PCP about them that he referred me over and I saw them for the next 2 years nonstop. Its let up since they cancelled my group but I will be back Friday to try and get back into a regualr thing with them...I need it and I know I need it.

They did nothing at my exam for PTSD. Nothing... Complained for years about it. Nothing...
Oh, and no prostate violation. All of that was done by blood as it is now at my VA. 8)

Better file for exposure too. My rep told me to just get it in your file by claiming it even if they refuse it.

Exposure, should I put it for something specific or just in general?

I know I was within 20 yards of a Blister agent that messed up a couple of our infantry unit guys clearing trenches and bunkers by hwy 8.

Mine was entered as a claim for exposure to chemical weapons. My rep did it. I had no specific ailments to claim. She said it was to have it entered in my file so in ten years they will help me care for my extra eye on my ass that glows in the dark

hope it is"nt like the last time though....if you did"nt claim it when u got out of the army,or was"nt showing any effects....sorry was the answer.va did give me a hearing aid about 6 yrs. ago. when i filed a claim ,they said that my hearing test after i got out was in the acceptable range.EVERYBODY knows that sometimes it takes awhile for stuff to show up and deteriorate(had to get the dictionary out for that one... ). thing was they did"nt bill me for the hearing aid, denied my claim for hearing loss...gotta lov their thinking.
