401st MP CAMP POW

Post by baderwoman007 » Mon Jun 27, 2011 8:15 am

Looking for ayone that was with the 401st MP CAMP POW. This is Christina Bader, I have reconnected with some of my fellow soldiers thru facebook but need to find more of you guys. I am gathering information regarding those of you that are sick. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in Dec 2010, had half my thyroid removed about 12-13 yrs ago. I have had several minor symptoms over the years that I chalked up to nothing, however, now that the tumor is out, I am experiencing the more serious symptoms that possibly relate to nerve damage. I sent out a message to about 25 people on facebook, around 14 or so responded, nearly all have some type of thyroid issue, or extremely large and/or numerous cysts. I think we may have a real issue here and it needs to be followed up by as many of us as possible. I know of at least one vet that has been fighting VA for years and keeps getting turned down, she has serious problems. Maybe if we all reported the problems we are having getting help would be easier???? You can reach me at baderwoman007@yahoo.com as well as facebook and here.

really good info on that site. There are a couple of studies you can participate in for GWS. The docs at the georgetown study are excellent and they will provide you with documentation of their professional medical opinions which many have used to file with the VA. Welcome to this forum by the way.

Thanks so much for the link, I found a map of the potential exposure areas and KKMC is right inside the area, I also went looking for my letters my mom kept for me, one of which I mention taking the pills (NAP) and of course I have my shot record with the Anthrax shot on it. I will most definatley be looking into Georgetown and anything else that can help me!
