Looking for PFC Armstead

Post by stanstokes » Thu Aug 19, 2010 12:25 pm

I was an employee of Aramco during Desert Storm and was responsible for coordianting the housing furnished by Aramco for the 82nd. Remember Col Rocas and others. Paid well, we got all the MRE's we wanted which were actually nice for desert camping.

Also rounded up old vehicles for target practice.

After the group left I had to organize cleanup, lots of canned goods etc which we donated to a good cause. I also found a tool box left by a PFC Armstead. That's all the info I have on it. Does anyone know such a person, maybe he would like to have it back or maybe not.

At the end just before the 82nd pulled out to Iraq, I was given a nice plaque which I still treasure.

I don't know him but you may be interested in the thread about the 20th Anniversary. There is an ARAMCO person who just published a book about you guys and the troops you were meeting.
