I heard of one lost in 2ACR from a secondary explosion from a burning t72 that caught sleeping bags that were in the bustle rack on fire and it got out of hand and the crew bailed out. but none that I know of from direct fire.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Welcome to the forums f16tqs.

Sorry to hear about that friendly fire. There was a lot of it. Of the 11 we lost in 1st Infantry Division, I believe a couple were friendly fire as well. Such a tragedy.
