Coalition forces water supply

Want to know everything about the topic.
1.)How much water forces used per day ?
a. for drinking ?
b.for technical needs ,etc. ?
2.)What was the main sources of water supply ?
3.) There was an water reserve in case of water supply cutt-off ?

There are probably as many answers to those questions as there were units deployed . In my 'camp' we got a fresh 'Water Buffalo' (1,000 gl trailer) every couple of days , for camp use , and a few thousand (1) liter water bottles ever other day .
