looking for a location of a marine unit during desertstorm

I wananted to know if anyone can tell me how I can find out where a specific marine unit served during operation desert storm/desert shieldThe unit I am looking for is 1/8 marines 2mardiv alpha company weapons platoon

My buddy was in that unit, actually in that platoon too, I know they were on the right flank of the assault into Kuwaitte with us but cant tell you town names.
