I grew up with this guy but was not stationed with him while in teh service. He was a great guy, its a shame he passed away. I am nt sure how he passed but I do know he had PTSD pretty bad as well as some other medical issues.

Obituary: William Douglas Williams, Age 43, passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2011 at his home in Cincinnati. Doug was born on December 28, 1967 in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He graduated from Titusville High School in Titusville, Florida. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1990-1994, a decorated veteran of the Persian Gulf. After returning from the Gulf War, he married Melissa Peterson on January 25th, 1992. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife Melissa and his son, Alec, his mother, Sharon Betzing of Vancouver, Washington, his father Bill and stepmother Sandra Williams of Melbourne, Florida, brother Jonathan Williams of Germantown, Maryland along with many family members of northern Kentucky, Ohio and Florida. He loved computers, photography, traveling and spending time with his family. He was and will always be loved by his family, friends and all who knew him.
