I use my county administration vet rep. She's done well. I have just tried to keep up with my own files.

The WRIISC will tell them what test to do. If your doctor will not send you, call the center your self and tell them you want to come but your doctor will not send you.

i got this big whiter packet thursday from va.... thought it was about the findings on my c&p....well half right...it was the same packet that they sent me when i put in for my c&ps 8O !!!!
i'm thinking that they're wanting more information , but kinda tore on sending more, cause my service rep, once told me , (i think) that it could slow down the process, by adding more stuff. to wait till they send me a rating, then appea lthat, and add the stuff that i"ve found, remember, etc.
kinda makes me think that they"ve lost my shit though.......
not helping that this week or so is probably going to be real bad.........

You do not need to send in any thing you once did; but if you have something new or something that the RO should have for your case send it in now. It will not slow down the case unless your case is at the board or court of appeals. At the RO they are working it to make a rating and want all that will help. You are better off sending in everything for your rating now then to trying with a NOD.

NEVER send in anything that might harm your case.

Alcohol can be your worst enemy. It has the capacity to make your underlying hidden issues surface without judgement. It can make me crazy, angry, sad and or suicidal. Drink with moderation if you can. I enjoy a cold brew but man I gotta be careful. Even on meds.

IF I drink, its 1 beer if that. I don't dick around with the hard stuff, I did that way too much for 4-5 years after I got out and I am not going back there again. My father, may he RIP, was an alcoholic and he never went through the stuff we went through and I am not going to let that turn me into one so I just take the alcohol out of the equation altogether. I smoked a lot of weed when I got out as well, it helped me go to sleep at night as well as keep my mind off the crap my mind was remembering, I've given that up as well. No more self medicating, I let the VA head meds do that now and it seems to be working.

I've been avoiding the group meetings at the VA the last 5-6 months because it seems like the same guy talks every time about the same crap like his band and so on. They are all DS vets, most were senior NCOs, and retired now. In all there's only like 6-7 of us in the group and that stinks cuz I know there are a lot of other DS vets around here.

.....I think my ramble is done ...for now. Peace my friends and I hope your next 6-7 days go good for you all. Don't do anything stupid and keep your attitudes to yourself, the idiots around us just have no idea and its not really their fault because they did not go through what we did.

Ive lost 50 pounds in the last year and came to a hotter climate. The two seem to have affected how alcohol affects me. I'm fine happy go lucky till my wife nags/scolds me for something. Then i get very angry. Mostly if i drink i just need to not be around my wife .. for not .. till i can get some meds... I dont even drink that much only a couple 40 oz ers. Its strange. My wife and I get along great when im sober.
