Any topic anywhere bro. I think the topics are kind of guides for conversation starting. No rigidity or rules as far as I know. It's all good man.

Well dudes, Thursday is my dreaded C & P evaluation. I'm fairly nervous about it.

Well today was the day. I saw the Psych doc for my C&P evaluation. I'm shocked to say, it went as good as I could have imagined. He was receptive, caring, compassionate, attentive and thanked me for my service on my way out. He said he was impressed that I've done as well as I have and he would recommend at least 70%. He said they do not always go by his recommendation but I should be well compensated.

Fellas, I'm floored.

Hate to be the downer in this, but don't get your hopes up. It all depends on how the Dr. words his assessment and how the rating official interprets it.

I wish you well with it, but be prepared, just in case. The worst case is that the VA rates you lower than that, and you have to file a Notice of Disagreement and maybe an appeal.

The good news is the service connection ... I believe that once a service connection is established it can only be removed if they find evidence of fraud.

Good luck with it ... you deserve every $ of it and more!

Hey guys, you can call me your sister in uniform. I am a PGW vet. I served with the 400th MP BN, 800th BDE, EPW/CI. We had the largest EPW Compound in theatre. I live in NH and have been dealing with a lot of stuff ever since I came home. I suffer from just about everything on the list. I have gradually be bumped up to 50% over the years. I am in the process of re-evaluation. This time I am using the DAV as legal representative. They can be very helpful in letting you know the ins and outs of the C&P process.

I went to my GW doc this week and sadly, I know more about the research and discovery about GWI than he does. He said that "they don't tell him anything." It makes you wonder...

I will be having an MRI done on my neck and brain next Thursday. I had an MRI a year ago by a non-VA Doc and it showed lesions on the White Matter of my brain, they say that it is Gliosis, similar to what they find in Parkimson's patients. I will be 50 this December and all I want for my birthday is a little relief from the pain, loss of memory, get my lungs back.... All of it back!

I'm done rambling for now. Be well!
