Total med change again. Still rispiridone but add prazosin and Mirtazapine, lose the buproprion. I don't know if I'm having symptoms of ptsd or signs of medication side effects but I'm seeing people in my peripheral vision that are'nt there. Scares the bejesus outta me. Like someone is in my house!! At least I'm not hearing a little girl from the highway calling my name for a while.

I had to give up the work cuz of this stuff. I was either hiding or lookin for a fight. It was awful. I would not sleep knowing I had to go in to work. Chest pain and everything. Got to be too much. I'm waitin' on IU from the VA and now social security.

monday, while getting reay for work, i bent down to get something from under the bathrom sink, started to straighten up, bam!!! there went my back! it just locked up, i tried to relax, but a nogo.finally after about 15 mins, i hollered at the wife , who was sleeping, she helped me lay down on my side and i just started trying to straighten out. it took me about 2 hrs. to get moving again, was stiff, sore all day, nite. was soaking in hot water at 3 this morning, heat pad till around 7. now i'm just laying around , walking some stretching every little bit.
called the va clinic today, got appt. tomorrow, i know that they probably can't help much, but this is the second time in 3 weeks that its went out. plus it'll be documented proof of back causing me to miss work.doc said that it would get worse, and harder to work as time passed, guess he was right.
gotta go back tomorrow to work. if i miss 3 days staight without doc. note, i'm gone. hell, i know that my days working are about done, but i'll be damned, if i'll let them fire me over it. trying to get them to just lay me off, i got surgey coming on my neck soon , i hope. maybe that'll help with feeling like a 80 yr. old. dunno.
i know, that i'm rambling on , thanks for listening.

Aint it the truth !
I get up at 4 a.m. so I can fight the mental battle of "I have to provide for My family ." vs
"Just let me crawl in a cave and seal it up" , and still be on the road by 6:45 a.m. for the daily grind .
I haven't missed much work , but I live in terror of "losing it" with the wrong person and getting fired .

I can relate my old manager would let relax in our office for a while when she noticed me getting edgy. Until one day I lost it and put one of my floor maintenance guys through the wall. I thank you all for sharing your feels and for venting. I only wished I would have found you all before I lost my job. After reading everybody's writtings I don't feel so alone. I haven't gone for PTSD but I think I should. I get angry for no reason and little things shoot me out of this world. Once I'm gone it takes a while to come down. I haven't been able to go down a dirt road since coming back from DS. I lost my youngest brother and grandmother this past December and I couldn't bring myself to see them..... I can't go to funerals with out breaking down, I miss them both................

Not many people can but I understand completely. I have only attended 2-3 funerals since I left the service and they wre hard.

I have given my condolensces and politely declined for personal reasons.
