yesterday, after several days of getting answering machines at the neurologist office in the va hospital(hate those things) in louisville ky. told them about what was happening, about wanting to keep seeing the one that i"m seeing now. they told me that their doc would review my file and decide if he would take over or let me keep seeing the one i got now. i told them that if it was up to me that i rather keep the one i got now, cause i really like this one, seemed to care, an know what he was doing. i don"t know if me asking them to let me continue seeing this doc helps, but it was worth a try.

They very well may, I know they can do it, it's just a matter of doing the 'fee basis' referral.

Good luck with it ... hope it works out ... if you aint satisfied with their answer use the 'chain of command' and go see the patient representative, and then the Chief of Staff, and then the Director ... fight for what you need.

Age ... breaks everything down ... concrete, wood, steel, humans.

Stick with it, might prevent bigger issues down the road.
