I am going to ask a few more questions about it to my doctors (VA & Civilian). I have hurt from head to toe for years, sometimes just to the touch it hurts. I cannot play with my kids sometimes because when they jump on me I hurt all over. I do roll around on the floor and bed with them tickling but I usually pay the price later for it but I can handle it. Between learning to cope with the pain and all my pain killers, I manage daily.

Yes, I have fibromyalgia, also known as (RSD) (CRPS) I have it in my arm, and now can not feel my fingers or arm. It depends on what level you have it. In the early stages is very painful, but I’m now 3 years in to it. I control it with medication, and diet. Because it is a nerve disorder, IE. BLOOD FLOW, rich food triggers it. In my early days, it was so sensitive i could pick up vibrations from the sound of a TV. The pain was so bad, I thought I would go MAD, I even beg the doctors to take the arm off. You have to try different drugs, depending on MALE OR FEMALE, It is a very strange disorder, and I feel for you. Eventually I will lose my hand because the fingers are becoming too disfigured, and the nails are painful and cannot be cut. I wish you well, and study all you can on this.

This disorder is not new to vets. It was first discovered by doctors treating soldiers during the CIVIL WAR. They found that some soldiers that were wounded were in pain for long periods of time, some were misdiagnosed, and body parts were amputated needlessly. I’m not trying to scare you, because my case happened on the job, and workers comp. failed to treat me properly. I eventually had to sue and went to SWEDEN and got treatment, also an operation to unhook the Media nerve. That’s why I can’t feel my arm. But if you are getting proper treatment, you should be fine......... later. It depends; the nerve system is very weird. Hope you feel better.

Well along with this fibromyalga stuff and PTSD, now my blood count and x-rays shows that I have pretty bas osteoporosis in my spine, neck and lower back. Maybe thats why sometimes the loricets provide a little bit of relief cause they say that pain killers dont work on fibromyalga.

I really wish they would figure out a better diagnosis for this shit called fibromyalga because maybe then they would be better at treating it because I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of being disgusted about being sick and tired of literally suffering EVERY freakin day of my life........ If it wasnt for my son, wife and mother who love me dearly, I would have jumped in front of a Mack truck going down the interstate 80 MPH so I could be done suffering. I am just tired of being tired of all of this bullshit. I need some relief even if its only for a little bit. These migraines and constant whole body pain is really getting to me and my mindset.

ANY type of suggestions for ANY type of relief would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much
Randy

I've been to two C&P exams because the VA regional office requests them. They have denied service connection for years for my multiple joint and muscle pains, but I keep disagreeing.

I went to another C&P just last week. It turns out to be another one for Fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with it this time. I just started laughing at the examiner.

I think the VA doesn't know what to do with all the complaints of 'undiagnoseable' conditions so they are lumping them into Fibromyalgia or chronic fatique, or some other loosely defined, symptom-based diagnoses.

I think it stinks myself, but at least it is a service connection ... albeit for the wrong diagnoses.

I'll take the diagnoses, but I won't stop fighting them.

I went for my C&P today for fibromyalgia. The PA checked my reflexes and touched me on the head and said does that hurt. We spoke for about five minutes. He asked if i was diannosed with fibromyalgia. I told him yes by a specialist. He said that is it you can go. What a joke. Idid get to update some records and sign up for the Gulf War exam.

A very good example of what the new health care in america will be. Have you had the Medicine called (LYRICA) yet? it works great. next time you go to the va ask about it, I get it from a civillian doctor for my injury i got on a job and it does wonders.Hope you feel better. I have fibromyalgia and (RSD) so i know your pain.
