This would be the track I rode into combat 1st platoon ,with TC sgt atchinson ,wearing the welding helment ,me in the middle and we was helping out
guthrie building storage racks on the sides of the tracks to carry extra gear / pfc wolfe was operator, also riding in the track was doc campell and Lt Santiago and a whole lot of ammo c-4 and lets not forget the tastey meals ready to eat .

dam....we was so young, i remember that , the reacks be in added 2 the tracks, they help out alot, but i still my seat in the track was a cratin charge, primed an ready....i remember a ace driver, who was ridin with us...fresh out of basic...he freaked out when i lit a cig...told him relax...look around him...cases of c4,ammo, rockets, cratin, shape charges, an a mic lic we pulled behind us. i just smiled at him, ssaid if we get hit, he'd not even feel a thing......the look on his face....priceless....
