Al-Rashid AB in Baghdad-looking for ground level pics
Hi. I'm brand new to the forum, and have been researching both Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom for quite a while. I have a question that perhaps someone here could answer: The Al-Rashid Military Prison (located on the grounds of Al-Rashid AB in SE Baghdad) was used by the Iraqis as a POW facility in the Iran-Iraq War, Desert Storm, and during OIF-1. I have a Google Earth picture of the facility (which matches a map in Andy McNab's book Bravo Two Zero). Anyone have ground level pics of the facility? I believe the unit that took the base on 7/8 Apr 03 was part of RCT-7, 1st Mar Div. Thanks in advance.
