It's about 1/2 acre, maybe close to 1 acre if it gets all the way full. I didn't think it would be big enough for a whole big eco system of cats and bass and perch, so I was thinking just starting at the bottom of the food chain (smaller fish) and going up 1-2 types.

The thing about bluegills is their breeding habits. Doesn't take them long to over populate and then start laying eggs when they are only a couple inches long

It's already stocked with frogs and turtles, I thought that would sort of keep any population explosion curbed.

A .22 would be fun with turtles and frogs. It makes for great target practice.

The froggies at my place aren't table worthy... they are about the size of the tip of my little finger.

Only 10 small cats they are nothing worth posting pics about. Some on had already made a sweep on the frogs and only ended up with 8

Rodney, you need to use something besides just a hook. The fish normally won't bite a bare hook.....

He uses a hook too? I thought he was just out there hollering "here fishy fishy fishy....here fishy fishy fishy" and making smooching sounds.
