Health Insurance

Post by rodneyw71 » Fri Feb 03, 2006 9:38 pm

My boss switched health insurance on us, we now have a $2500 deductible per person in my family with no perscription cards. Does anybody else have crappy insurance. I have a chance to switch jobs with better insurance but will have to work nights and weekends, I don't know if it's worth it. I never thought it would come down to this, having a life or having good insurance.

If you can deal with the other job, you might want to do that. Insurance is a must. Unless you Are making enough to ofset what you have to cover for the current insurance.

What do you think about the insurance savings plan that Bush is proposing. I don't know how it would work, it would take a long time to save enough money for a major illness.

I don't think that Bushie boy is really thinking. He needs to come up with some thing that people with little or no money can use and actually get.

I finally got myself debt free so this kind of worries me, all it would take is one big medical bill and I'd be back in debt with out nothing to show for it.

Yeah, I am sort of in the same boat. But I figure that paying more right now and NOT having any surprises is better than finding out that you end up facing 30,000 in hospital bills.

My wife has had diabeties since she was two, so I pay out of my pocket for insulin and needles because I have no perscription cards it all goes towards the $2500 ded. on her.

I just have a hard time going back to nights and weekends, no more football no more going to the saturday night stock car races. Oh the hardships of having responsibility.
