Back from beyond

was locked out for 9 months or so. now I came back and my avatar is gone! WTF!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

It is the common denominator it seems. Fighting the VA. Have ya made any progress? I finally got my IU. 16 months. SSDI denied me twice now which means its lawyer time but I have'nt been able to tackle that idea yet. Glad to see ya. Been real quiet round here

I just want to crawl in a hole and die today. I seen the ted koppel report on withdrawing from Iraq and learned that the United States is selling 150 M1 tanks to the god damned towel heads! Have we completely lost our minds! I looked it up on defense news and sure enough there was a huge picture on the article with a towel head in the TC's hatch of an M1A1 with a Iraqi flag flying on the god damned antenna! That should give them a distinct advantage in raping and pilidging thier neighbors!!!! when we pull out and the radicals take over, that should make crushing any revolts easy!!!! It feels like a huge kick in the nuts to me, and I would hope to any other DS vets! VERY SAD DAY! I have been sold out for the hope of a democratic iraq that we all know will never happen. I bet the towel heads are laughing all the way to takrit!

This is ridiculous, I cannot believe we are giving Iraq such modern equipment. They should be getting the stuff we replaced with the Abrams. I know theres some tank storage field somewhere with a ton of them sitting in it. C'mon knuckleheads. They are killing our guys with roadside bombs and you're gonna sell them Abrams tanks? I guess everyone and everything really does have a price.
