Been warm and dry all week ... still a lot of water in the ground though. The crappie ought to be running full bore by now.

Mow the lawn? Is that the same as 'cut the grass'?

Yes Top it is the same....
I have a little over 3 acres of land and one acre is mostly grass (lawn). Hopefully I can get it cut (mowed) tonight, it has been growing incredibly fast the past couple of weeks.

:) Just wanted to be sure. Here in the rural Missouri Ozarks we have yards, with grass and weeds ... it doesn't qualify as a lawn. We mow the hay fields and cut our yards.

In thrural areas of New Hampshire, where I live, there are an abundance of trees shading the yard of plush green grass making a lawn that looks like a golf course. With my lawn tractor it takes me about 3 hours to mow.

Here on the East Coast of Florida, my .48 acre of land is mostly covered with grass and some weeds here and there and takes me roughly 4 beers to mow with my 38" cut Troy-Bilt mower. Usually have to wait a few hours later to run the weed-eater due to what the heat does to me while drinking them 4 beers.

I'm too much of a light weight now to drink and drive (the lawn tractor). I really cut down on my drinking because it was bringing out too much anger. But there is nothing like a cold beer when you are working outside! :D

HMMM... I just thought of a new category; Favorite beer.....
