I used to love to deer hunt, then one year something just snapped inside of me and I found that I can't hunt anymore. I feel bad if I see an animal dead on the side of the road.

Understandable. I quit for awhile ... I've posted the reasons ... but I gotta do somethin and deer hunting is something that I can do on my own land that doesn't take a huge amount of effort. 'Course I've spent several hundred dollars on warm clothes to use once a year ... 'cause I don't get cold.

Had the tiller out earlier in the week ... got radishes, onions, garlic, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts in.

Not yet time to get day old chicks ... still too cold at night unless you have a really good brooder. Wait 'til April, but you will still have to brood them.

Raining here as well, and chilly. Got a fire in the wood stove and taking a break ... almost time for meds.

I stopped all the meds except Tizanidine for pain. It makes me sleep. I'll be knocked out here shortly.

Finally quit raining here. Rivers are going back down. Gotta get some flies tied up. Sounds like the steelhead are starting to get antsy.
