The temps have been in the high 30's and 40's this week with some rain. The ground heave (from the freezing moisture in the soil) has been good this year, which should make the grass grow well this year ... good for the animals, not good for the lawn mower ... or me.

The wife tells me that I have mainly two jobs in this household ... cut firewood or cut grass.

Today is our last day of sunny weather for a week or so. The rain is supposed to start over night and last for about a week. At least all the ugly snow will be gone. I saw about 11 robins on Saturday. Spring is on it's way. :)

Spring is on the way ... but remember that the according to the moon calendar it is still January ... 24 January today ... so we may still have some winter ahead of us.
