Yeah I figured I would just throw it out there because I was actually able to meet Matt Hughes last night. He was at a town right next to mine for a book signing.

It was great to finally meet probably my favorite fighter. Great guy, down to earth.

I stop by when flippin channels and watch it for a bit from time to time. I am not into it enough to know any of the guys names though. Wish I was that type of guy who could fight like that though.

I have never watched it. For some reason it just doesn't appeal to me.

I don't watch it ... doesn't do anything for me. Funny story though?

I once entered a 'tough man' competition at Ft. Sill in 1981... thought I was going to be a money winner. I threw in the towel when the guy I was going to fight won four straight matches and didn't even look tired. I got boo'd big time, but no way was I going in the ring with that guy ... to this day I say it was a smart move on my part.

I do not blame you. I'd never step into a guaranteed @$$-whooping either.

Yeah can't say I know more then a few people that are willing to take a guaranteed beating. lol

I like UFC. Must have something to do with the 12+ years of wrestling I did growing up starting in 1st grade.

I wouldn't last long in the ring, energy wise. I can run 3 miles with little or no problems, but when I wrestled, I lost all of my energy quick, so I would definatly get my ass kicked. I lost alot of matches, I had to try and pin the guy right away, because if it went on I lost, I was just drained....probably has alot ot do with training.

Don't feel bad, unless I could get a good kick in and manage to bust his knee out sideways and then throw my 300 lbs on him to pin him, theres no way I would win either.
