Downtime

Post by troutster » Wed Mar 28, 2007 10:04 pm

As I'm sure some of you saw, the site was down for a few hours today. We are back and running now. My host was nice enough not to automatically renew like it has been doing forever....

Anyways, we are back.

Hey stranger, whats been going on with the site? Every couiple of days or so I get gobbly-goo code at the top of the forum when I come in. I haven't seen the main site in a quite a while. I referred some D/S and current war vets to the site but all they got were the site statistics, I assuered them it would all be fixed soon and to please keep checking.

Yeah, it seems that the awesome host I use (no seriously, I really liked them) is using a version the CPanel behind the scenes that has a vulnerability in it. Which nicely lets that nonsense happen.

I believe I restored everything last night across the board on the site, and will stay on the lookout until they remove the offending version of the software and replace it.

I am all over them getting them to upgrade, etc.... So hopefully it will be resolved soon.
