There are still WW1 vets still alive, but he was the last Combat veteran. I think we were talking about this before....just thought I'd share it.

I saw this on the VFW website a few days ago. It is hard to believe that there is anyone left that served in WWI. I guess if they lied about their age and joined up when they were young that they would be around still. I am going to ask for a moment of silence for him at our next VFW meeting.

woah WWI...seems like a long time ago especially to me..lol...wait,,..WWI. you shur..i mean,..my grandfafther was in WWII..but WWI..he must have been really young
