I'm high and dry though, thankfully.
Well, lets hope it stays that way..

I can understand that.. That is one of the reasons that we chose where we live now.. The town near us would have to be flooded over completely before it gets bad here...

Anyone out there live around winterhaven florida? Is there any small houses or trailers for sale in that area? Looking for a winter retreat, these old bones ain't likin' all the snow and cold.
Looking for whomever was with the same unit and on route 8 in Iraq. I need verification that I was there. Am hitting brick walls with VA desk jockey. Thanks for serving.

Hello all,

The second edition of "The Gulf War Chronicles" will be released soon. This time it will be available in bookstores and online. Here is what the publisher had to say in their recent press release:
Written in laymen’s terms yet with enough accuracy for any seasoned military buff, The Gulf War Chronicles provides a thrilling and thorough look at the first chapter in the world’s conflict with Iraq, and shows how Operation Desert Storm set the stage for our current Middle East conflicts. The Gulf War Chronicles is a complete, compelling and mesmerizing account of America’s fight against the forces of Saddam Hussein.
For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to read "The Gulf War Chronicles," please go down to your local bookstore and ask that they order a copy for you. The second edition has a new ISBN: 978-1-60528-006-6
