4th Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment's home command was the 3 ID but they were attached to the 1st Armored Division. The 3d Armored division supplied some battalions and some support units but the 3ID was not involved in Desert Storm. As for the breakout of Iraqi Defences-VII Corps, which included 1...

3 ID in 1991

easyand, What is the subject of your diarama? The 3 ID was in Germany in 1991. American Army Infantry divisions use High Mobility Multi Wheeled Vehicles HMMWVs, or Hummers, in many roles. They are used as ambulances, command vehicles, small trucks, recon vehicles, and more. It is unusual that you ar...

Please study Neville Chamberlin"s apeasement of Hitler in the 30s. The world cannot afford to ignore tyrants who are hellbent on gaining power through death, torture, rape, destruction, and hate.

Please read my responses. I said that in 1991 our stated goal was to liberate Kuwait and de-fang Saddam. Since 1991 our efforts to keep Saddam from rebuilding his military and thus becoming a threat again have been slowly losing ground because our "friends" like France, Russia, and Germany" have rep...

SantaCruiz, History has proven that we rendered his military incapable of hurting his neighbors. In 2002 Saddam moved an entire Republican Guard Division into Syria. It was his intent to attack Israel. The attack never materialized because the Iraqi Army was unable to sustain the logistics chain to ...

hindsight is always better than forsight. At the time of Desert Storm our goal was to Liberate Kuwait and render Saddam's military machine incapable of hurting its neighbors. Having accomplished both of those goals, we stopped the fighting. How would America have looked in the world press if we chas...

The Battle of An Nasiriyah

The 507th Maintenance Company's ambush is woven into the story of TFT and so is Jessica Lybch's capture and...

Hopefully, I can become a frequent visitor to this group. Does anyone have any questions for me?
