I believe I restored everything last night across the board on the site, and will stay on the lookout...

Recent Error Messages

Hi All,
Just wanted to give you a quick update. It seems there was a vulnerability in some software that my webhost uses that allowed some Forum files to get corrupted.

After some research I was able to correct it. We should be back in business now.

Sorry for the "downtime".

Danger. I couldn't have put it any better, so I won't, you've just about said it all. If anything, Melissa, by her actions and attitude made people think twice about anything they do take part it. Unfortunately, it is do gooders such as her that make many people leery to get involved in great things...

Downtime

As I'm sure some of you saw, the site was down for a few hours today. We are back and running now. My host was nice enough not to automatically renew like it has been doing forever....

Anyways, we are back.

Just saw this blurb on Strategy Page. Since we are a related forum, I thought you might find this interesting.

Nice save Dagger. Thats the problem, Im sure some people will get tagged during the cleanup, but we do our best.

Just stinks we have to do all this because of the SPAM. Sad thing is, no matter what, there will always be people willing to waste their time and post garbage.

No more anonymous/guest posting. Right now visitors will have to sign up and using a valid email, activate their account. That wont snag the more sophisticated bots necessarily, or the individual that just has too much free time, but should be a step in the right direction. Next step will be admin a...
