My condolences on the loss of your son,I too have health problems that I never had before the war, depression and anger issues...more importantly, my son was born with a cancerous brain tumor, and both my daughters have heart conditions, neither heart conditions or cancer run in my family or my wife...

I think my most vivid memory of the terrain was in the weeks before we breached the minefields, we could see some sort of factory in the distance on the horizon...it had 2 huge stacks that had flames coming out of them 24 /7...we came to call it the Gates of Hell as we knew we would have to go throu...

What amazes me the most is how little the average american knows about what we did over there.It was one of the most supported wars in our history and the media seemed to only show the troops that surrendered, it's like they were hiding the real war from our nation.I think what pissed me off the mos...

I was with india co. 3/6 so I'm sure we tasted the same sand, not a day goes by that I don't think about that war, thought I was the only one :?

as a former marine O can tell you he is so full of shit it's not funny...I had buddies go to sniper school for close to 6 months.
