Well, first of all, there is not very many Seabees on the fleet, most of us are Land based, since Seabee is what they use instead os C.B. which means Construction Battalion, I guess they just thought Seabee was cuter :? I was a Seabee, a Construction Mechanic 3rd class Petty Officer. I like his stor...

I seems that you pretty much have to die to get the recognition that the higher ups get for just scratching their butts, Don't you just hate it when a higher up is asked something about an assignment that you and your team did and he starts by saying "We" did this and that. :?

I have nothing...

I believe that people don't realize that most of us that volunteered didn't volunteer for the war, we volunteered to protect our country knowing that there was a possibility of war, but hoping that there wasn't one during our tour of duty, I had a friend that while we were at homeport was all gunho ...

Would you rather that sadaam still be testing chemical agents on his own people?, where do you think all those mass graves came from? If we had not gone there to stop him from killing innocent people for his own purposes, he would still be doing much the same thing, most people don't stop to realize...

I don't remember any real celebration other than from the people recieving thier brothers-husbands-uncles-or boyfriends, everything just pretty much went back to normal, I am sure the whole city knew we were back but it seemed as if they didn't want to mention it. I didn't expect a big party, a simp...
